Optimistic star thrower

School is busy as hell. First, you have to get to lectures on time, taking into consideration you are unprepared and green around the ears, holding nothing but a few flimsy sheet of paper, having forgotten to print out the notes. Couple that with attempting to navigate the large campus fraught with multiple floors, spanning B7 to level 7. Miraculously, I'm still alive. =)

Thoughts? Inspired by everything!

But, people cannot do everything, that's why we need to do whatever we can when we see the opportunity, instead of watching it walk pass. We should know that because we cannot do everything, we should not refuse to do something that we can.

Well, I've been saying alot of crazy things to alot of people lately, telling them of things that are so out of this world. "Who's this mad-man?" they must be pondering.

This mad-man is me, and he's mad about life. Yeah, school is quite intimidating, but school, is also exciting. As I said, it's one of the last chances to experiment within a sheltered environment before going out into the real world. Test limits, and learn how far you can go. If you fall, there are still mentors seniors and peers to help you along.

Live each day as though they will be our last. Seize each opportunity as they come along! Occassionally some will slip pass via apathy. No worries there, the least we can do is try. Through trying we will find the courage to change, and the wisdom to improve.

Inject some enthusiasm and zest into our lives, and by that I certainly do not mean your own life, but the lives of everyone around. Don't be afraid if they call you a mad-man, at least you'll be a happy, optimistic mad-man.

Talking, talking and talking even more. That's a refreshing change to my life. Letting these words flow out, these words that could make sense, and maybe make a difference. We change the world one person at a time. Like how Mr. Tan used to explain.

Here, i'd like to leave everyone with a little story

The Star Thrower

A man was walking along the beach one morning and he came upon a boy who was throwing starfish back into the ocean. The man asked the boy, "What are you doing?" The boy replied, "I'm trying to save all these sea stars from dying." The man looked up from his spot and scanned the beach. The man saw thousands upon thousands of starfish scattered along the shore. The man then said, "You cannot save them all; there are too many, you cannot make a difference!" The boy, not bothered by the man's remarks, picked up another sea star, threw it back into the ocean, and said to the man, "It made a difference to that one!"

That evening the man couldn't sleep. In the morning, he returned to the beach, searched for the young man, joined him and, together, they started throwing sea stars back to the ocean.

Let's be, then, one more willing to make this world a better place. Let's be the difference!
